Baingan Ka chokha

 Baingan chokha

We all know what is Baingan used as a vegetable in cooking, but it is a berry by botanical definition. As a member of the genus Solanum, it is related to the tomato, chili pepper, and potato, so it makes sense to combine it with its khandan or family 😅.... But what is bloody chokha : some say Choka refers to the process of roasting the tomatoes to intensify their flavor before crushing and combining them with garlic, onion, and hot peppers.

Ingredients
